We’re taking it out in the wild today and putting it through the paces to see if the Leatherman Signal can hold up to some real world survival situations. This is is everything you need to know about the Leatherman Signal!

  1. Fantastic review! You guys are some of the best to have ever done it. I think I’ll be picking one of these up.

  2. I wish this channel was still active. This was the video that made me buy this multi tool which eventually lead me to get outdoors and start camping.

  3. The unofficial name for the can opener is the eagle claw, and it can also be used as a bottle opener. In fact, I use mine for a lot more than that. It’s a pretty versatile tool.

  4. i find it funny how every single leatherman that i ever see is what looks like beat to tears🤣my friend had a leatherman that he owned a long time and it broke on him and all he said was he was ‘abusing’ the knife and they took it back and sent him a new one. they are quite durable

  5. Camping and survival tool? Be honast. Totally useless. If you disagree, you can always make few 2-3 day camping videos where Leatherman is your only tool.

It’s ok for urban situations… if you don’t have or need real tools.

  6. The only can openers I own are on MT’s. If they take them away, I would probably never buy another MT 😂

  7. I am a paramedic and I always carry two multitools from leatherman one the rapI am a paramedic and I always carry two multitools from leatherman one the raptor rescue and this one and both helped me to save patients. I am very thankful and proud that i can own these two wonderfull tools

  8. Good video overall but you lose me at the end when you’re like hey use this wire and hinge for something with your leatherman somehow. Like what are you trying to say?

  9. Great video! Thank you. I can live without scissors(begrudgingly) but I cannot forgive that this is not available without serrations. WTF Leatherman? Save all of your responses about mod-ing the blade. I’m not interested in that shit.

  10. have they discontinued the rachteting extenesion? You sold me on this Multi tool, but not seeing that option avaialabe??

  11. Someone needs to put a metal cutting blade on their multi-tool. Offroaders often break tie rods, etc. A metal blade would be very helpful. Ask me how I know…

  12. I spend a ton of time outdoors. I don’t know about this thing. I’d much rather have an indestructible full tang fixed blade knife on me.

  13. I much prefer the sidekick then the signal actually I’d rather use the victorinox huntsman then the signal for a survival multi tool it’s not that’s great

  14. Why does it have a combination blade? It already has a designated saw. Now the blade is crap.

  15. Doesn’t mention hunting as one of its potential uses… psshh 😏

That hammer is also excellent for tenderizing a tough grouse breast 😉

    Bon appetite boys.
