  1. I remeber most of the items u were showing on Amazon were not nearly as expensive back in 2017, most of the survival stuff was very cheap and it’s sky rocketed in the last few years like crazy:…

  2. Medications are a big thing. Meds are always over looked. If you rely on certain medications, see if you can get a few extra just in case

  3. Don’t forget the reverse osmosis filter for backpacking if there’s no water that can turn piss into water

  4. Bro, I live in LA. If shtf, I couldn’t care less how people perceive me. I’ll have my Glock and AR. If someone wants to take a chance, so be it.

  5. This is all nonsense. Hundreds of thousands of people in the US bug out every year. Basically none of this is meaningful.

Hell, in LA right now there are fires. Over 100,000 people have been forced to evacuate with little notice and there are MILLIONS of people without power.

If one month ago all of those people had watched this video it would have helped almost no one.

Between fires, hurricanes, and floods in the REAL WORLD people bug out.

No one is using a water filter to drink from a river. No one is sleeping outside. Society hasn’t collapsed.

People need clothes, phone, charger, wallet, critical paperwork, and maybe medication. That’s it. Maybe a handful of convenience items instead of buying replacements.

Dude … food and shelter? Stop living in a fantasy and join us here in reality.

  6. If you think you’re going to “bug out” shoot some deer & live in the forest, think again. It’s incredibly difficult to live long-term like that, especially through winter. Just watch “Alone”. Those are well prepared expert survivalists and most don’t last more than 100 days in wilderness areas documented to have adequate fish & game.

  7. If you’re living in a city why not buy a shopping cart and cover your supplies with an old blanket or plastic tarp and pretend to be just another homeless person?

  8. Great video! Your video is so helpful, especially by showing the pictures of where they can be purchased. Of course, many were on Amazon; it gives us the info that we need.
For food, I bought the sailboat survival food. Good for temps up to 140 degrees and some cold temps. Shelf life good for 5 years. No cooking necessary, the ones I have are lemon flavored and 2 small bars equal 2,000 calories per day.
I would like to suggest some survival flashlights that generate power as you squeeze the handle a number of times. No batteries needed or charging with a cord, and $2 a piece!!

  9. IR vision goggles are super cheap in comparison NVG’s, but can really be effective in these night time situations when 95% of the population can’t move at night without white light.

  10. I feel like if you have a regular bag, you’re gonna be more of a target. Military bag people will know you are more than likely armed and less likely to f with u. They are going to pray on the weak and innocent anyone that they come across.

  11. Tornqiuetes you shown are not the certified ones. Those Chinese brand ones are not worth your life. They either break upon tightening or terrible threading that shambles everywhere.

  12. 2l water container filled with sawyer stored .Bivy with a hammock tarp and mosquito net, Ar7 in the bag, Glock 20 holstered. Basic bandages ace wrap tourniquet gauze for stuffing. Frog rain jacket, sweater and pants bandana beanie in winter baseball cap in summer 3 pairs of socks. Copy of social security birth certificate. 200 dollars in mixed bills. Leather man multi tool paradord fishing line 2 inch duct tape a trash bag razor blade knife rope saw striker, matches, creamer, ez fire starter. Stream light. I also carry utensils like fork spoon and knife a can opener 2 spare mags for the Glock a waterproof bible solar power battery charger for phone and other electronics a combat style knife and a good quality bench made switchblade. I live in a more wooded area in the country so I’d like one decent sized sharp knife for cutting. And another heavy duty for chopping and more rough work. Your list was really good I just wanted to cross reference with some others peoples bags

  13. Ppl focus on “bugging out” so the fantasy of packing your family up and starting from scratch in the woods. Yeaaaaaa that sounds easy or fun until you have to actually bug out! Focus more on bugging in where all your supplies are. Fortify you home and BUG IN AS LONG AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN!!

  14. Cabelas; here I come!

A face mask in this day and age is good. Gloves are essential too in colder climates. Physical maps of your local area, even if outdated [russians invading Kyiv ignore]. Communications; baofeng radio. If affordable, NV or INV.

  15. I feel like anyone with a backpack might be a target so might as well be someone less approachable

  16. I don’t see the threat high enough to warrant a bug out bag here in the Home Counties of England. There is zero natural disasters, no guns etc etc …. Also a family bug out bag requires you to be at home in the event of an emergency. – I’m sure most people spend 60/70hrs a week out of their house.

  17. People this is bad information for the most part.
    – the mylar blankets and bivy sacks suck !
    – if you carry a fire arm you will be considered part of the problem and it will get you killed.
-a sharp stick would be much better and won’t stand out.
    – get home and stay home
    – stock up on food and multiple water filters
    – stock up on blankets and very warm clothes.
    – have many good quality masks and PPE gear ( basically prep for COVID again only extend the time period a little bit ) as the preps for COVID are the same as for nuclear war.
    – think of anything you need in the future and get it now ! ( 1- it will be cheaper now as opposed to later, and it’s available now. Supply chain disruptions are coming and will last longer )
    – don’t look like a threat with a fire arm it will only bring trouble and you will most likely be covered in dirt after that.
    – after a nuke blast you can’t go out for at least 10 days so prep accordingly .

  18. I got a 12 gauge since it can be used on so many different animals for food, but I like the 19 idea. Main thing I’d add is something for fishing, a filet knife, a space blanket, and a blow up pillow if you have neck pain like me 😅

  19. Hi mate, I was really wondering if I should buy a solar panel kit, but many people say they don’t work good. Advertised for 65W but providing 10-15. Do you have any recommendations? I also thought about buying a radio that has a crank for charging and works as a power bank, what are your thoughts on these?

  20. In terms of tools, knives, clothing etc. There’s a fine between over-paying for quality vs buying inexpensive but functional and durable. I have lost so many expensive knives, hatchets, pocket tools and led tactical flashlights, glove, etc that now I just buy what works at the cheapest price. For those of us you need glasses, also keep an extra pair or two in case they’re lost or broken.

  21. im in a bad situation I live in New York City and if shtf its going to get really sucky really fast here im trying to build my bug out bag just in case but when I try to tell other ppl about it they look at your weird like you have 5 heads

  22. For the city, 4 way water keys or water silcock keys will get you into most of not all municipal water sources that "don’t have a nob on the faucet" they do it’s locked. 😂

  23. instead of a gun i have the fma supersonic reverse crossbow pistol for self defence and for hunting (with a few extra strings in case they break) a gun makes too much noise and i can’t really get one legally in europe (i’d have to deal with criminals to get one, and id rather not)..

    – add superglue into the mix.. this could be used to close wounds, fix shoes, backpack, hole in a water bottle and so many other uses you can think of..

    – small lightweight solar panel.. and rechargeable batteries + lighter that works on a battery and maybe a tiny radio.

    – a source of navigation a map a compass anything to know where you are headed..

    – a few pocket size survival books to know how to build traps, being able to distinquish edible plants from potentially life threatening ones could be useful 😅.. (and you could use some pages as fire starters when in desperation)

    – a fishing/needle kit.. doesn’t have to be big but a fishing kit could always be useful.. if not for fishing you can always use the wire for something else.

    – a stainless steel container that could serve as a box for storing items and also as a cooking kit for boiling water or heating up food.

  24. So I am a fan of Imodium for gut stuff allergy meds any thing that u use everyday blood pressure meds what ever just take it. It’s not a lot of space and not much weight. People always forget about being comfortable in the uncomfortable. Nothing worse than getting shot at and having the shits lol. Just sayin

  25. silcock key, you can get water from buildings. water proof cards for entertainment, knife sharpener, travel toothpaste and tooth brushes, dental floss, solar battery bank to recharge phones and tablets, pathfinder metal water bottle, pathfinder metal cooking cup, spork, cooking pan, whistles, buckle repair kits for bag, and the kitchen sink.

  26. I know this video is a year old but I was wondering if you considered a water proof or ‘dry-bag’ instead of a pack? What are your thoughts?

  27. I was following until you mentioned 5 hr energy, which will give you a temporary boost but will drain your electrolytes and cause dehydration, bad idea.

  28. I don’t care about any of the hardcore survivalist/prepper concerns. I am just looking for ideas for a solid go-bag in case of a catastrophic wildfire like they are experiencing in LA right now. I got a few good ideas here, mostly I want a few changes of clothes, extra boots, ID, cash, credit cards, insurance docs, meds, toiletries, moist wipes, phones, laptops, hard drives, power sources, high energy snacks, water, blankets, pillows (in case we have to spend a night in the car), etc. It’s important to make a comprehensive list, have it laminated and attached to your go-bag. Thanks.

  29. You can do all of the grey man stuff but if you are a for real BTDT, you can’t hide it. It’s in your eyes. I will see it in yours and you will see it in mine. Adjust accordingly.

  30. Great vid
You missed power such as solar or crank for charging your phone or radio
    Pre-made tinder for fire starters
Also a 1l flat bottom mess can for cooking
I’d recommend a British Army Hexi burner (that comes with fuel blocks) very light and efficient Just keep it sheltered from wind & rain
Hand warmers for emergencies. Can be used on feet as well. Keeping your extremities warm is vital
Change of clothes cause you will get wet
Potassium Iodine 130mg one per day if there’s a nuke
A nylon camo Tarp is also vital and protects thermal idents
