  1. Can we d.i.y insolation are selfs. Example can we get a can of spray foam insulation and fill in the gap between the walls. Is that ok or is it not good for are body?? Any input will help

  2. After 3 years those Colemans seem to have gone up in price. Maybe that’s Project Farms fault! On Amazon (AU) they seem to cost the same as the most expensive Klean Kanteen bottles.

  3. actually so call durable stanley took a serious damage. I don.2t think it is acceptable at that high price range. Btw you should test Thermos and especially the Zojirushi brand. Zojirushi is best of the best.

  4. Yeah I prefer these bottles with their screw-on caps. Spill-proof. Also good are screw-on caps with a drink mechanism you can flip up and down easily.

Anything that foils my dog’s attemps to knock over my drink containers in my car. 😄

I love your exhaustive tests! 👍

  5. Fantastic video, but you forget the Yeti’s one great weakness: THE LID. They’re made of a soft plastic that just doesn’t hold up to wear from repeated screwing and unscrewing. Look up the reviews for the default chug cap, and you’ll see pages of pictures with stripped lids. This fatal flaw negates any claim to durability it might have otherwise have had. The one reliable lid Yeti did have was discontinued.

  6. I bought a random insulated bottle from Walmart, after a day and a half there would still be a chunk of ice, after two days most of the ice would be melted but water still cold. It really only gets room temp after three days. The kicker is that there’s a hole in the top where the straw goes in, you can either seal it with the latch and unlatch when you need to sip or leave the latch open and stick the straw in which is how i always use it since the latch broke when it fell. So if it keeps temperature for that long with a half inch hole in the top, id love to see how long it can keep cold completely closed.

  7. Yeti performs badly due to having a very wide mouth and a lid that isn’t insulated at all.

  8. Did a similar test with 1 vacuum insulated mug and 1 air insulated. I put 8 ice cubes in each. The air insulated mug ran out of ice at about 7 hours and the vacuum insulated mug still had a sliver of ice at 27 hours. I took a drink and it was cold! :^)

  9. i don’t even use waterbottles under 32oz (947ml). why bother? if i need to carry water with me hiking, camping, working out, driving, i typically consume it at a rate where 20oz (592ml) just doesn’t last long enough to not be a pain to keep refilling.

  10. More than likely they are all made in one or two manufacturing plants in China, like the ones we used to have when I was young in the U.S..

  11. I know you can’t get them all, but ya missed one of the most popular bottles/tumbler’s out there, Owala. The hype for these things is nuts! I got my wife the 20oz with the sip lid and the 40oz with the handle/straw. She loves them.

Video idea: Best urine/stain/odor remover. This would be a nasty test lol.

    Well-known brands:

Rocco & Roxie Professional Strength Stain & Odor Eliminator
Nature’s Miracle Advanced Platinum Stain and Odor Remover
Kids ‘n’ Pets Stain & Odor Remover
Bissell Pet Pro Oxy Stain Destroyer
    Resolve Urine Destroyer
Bubba’s Rowdy Friends Stain & Odor Terminator
Sunny & Honey Pet Stain & Odor Miracle
Biokleen Bac-Out Pet Stain & Odor Remover

  12. I have old Stanley/Aladdin thermoses with charcoal and vacuum insulation. They are heavy but the heat retention is excellent. Nowadays, they make them without the charcoal insulation to save money. The heat retention is not as good as the old ones.

  13. I’d love to see a test of wide mouth insulated food containers – the bigger ones that hold at least 30-50 ounces.

  14. I just bought a Zulu from Walmart thought Id check to see if I made a good decision, still don’t know 😂

  15. I know this is an old video but man, this was EXACTLY what I was looking for and I love how thorough the testing was! My partner has a cheap Ozark Trail bottle and it kept a substantial of ice in it after leaving it in my car sitting in the Florida heat for 1.5 days. At the end of the time frame the ice was mostly melted but the overall tempt was still enjoyable.

  17. Can we get an updated version of this one, with COLDEST brand as part of the comparison? Thank you!

  18. Does skin decoration factor into the choice of the bottles tested? I ask because the water bottle from Linus Tech Tips was left out. I recall his ratchet screwdriver was included in that review. I wish that bottle was included because with tax and shipping it would cost me $43.

  19. I love this! I hate it when a water bottle doesn’t keep your water cold. I am shocked how bad the Yetti did on the cold test. I tried a new brand to me Sendestar and it works pretty good. I live on a sailboat and these frequently fall on the floor when under sail. I had 3 Tervis bottles that all lost their vacuum after falls. That is why I tried Sendestar. You should have retested them after the drop to see if they still keep the water cold.

  20. The Thermos brand (non Stanley) is by far the best insulated bottle I’ve ever used… why wouldn’t you test the og original????

  21. I wish you had sorted and lined them up on the thermal camera from "brightest " to "darkest" ( most to least heat loss ) . * to be clear all in one shot *

  22. Todd, I find it amazing that you read and respond to comments on ALL your videos, even old ones like this.

Thank you for your dedication to helping the common man. Honesty can be hard to find these days, but people like you are a reminder there is hope.

  23. So you did not test a Thermos branded Thermos? O_o
"Your daughter broke a window, upended an ash can, and hurled a Thermos brand thermos onto the street!"
"Does it still keep hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold?"
"I’m afraid it doesn’t keep any drinks anything."
